TV Theme Of The Week: The Greatest American Hero

From the classic triumverate of TV writer Stephen J. Cannell and composers Mike Post and Pete Carpenter, comes the creation The Greatest American Hero.

I was glued to this during the 80’s, following the story of a college professor (William Katt), who gains super powers after being abducted by aliens, and a hard nosed FBI agent (Robert Culp). This was primarily about failed attempts as using super powers, played for laughs. Always found it fun, and over the two or three years I watched it, I knew the song off by heart.
